It sells Polish classics translated into English, French or German, collections of lyrics, and books of Polish poetry. They are bound in leather and printed on hand-made paper, with stylish illustrations and ornamentation. “The Letter From St. John of the Cross that we published was a gift for Pope John Paul II,” says Kurtiak. “We wrapped a ribbon around five copies of it and, in line with a medieval tradition, we placed them in a silver box decorated with amber.” (…)
